A getaway remembered for a lifetime. Special moments with the ones we love should be cherished forever. Our stay at the Irish Hollow for our 25th Anniversary could not be duplicated anywhere else on earth. It was paradise. The cottage, the food, the scenery, and the staff are amazing. This was our first stay at a B&B, and Irish Hollow set the bar extremely high, completely surpassing our expectations. The cottages are an amazing escape from reality, with a perfect mix of rustic and all the modern conveniences (except, of course, TV and phone-bonus)! The food is so good/creative that we felt we had to finish although we were stuffed. Hospitality was top notch as well. You will not regret a visit...
My wife and I decided to get away for the weekend and chose the Inn at Irish Hollow. Though there was some technical difficulties on our first night due to a storm the night before, everything was corrected quickly and the weekend was saved. Vincent was more than accommodating and offered the best customer service we have ever received. The French maid cottage was beautiful and fit perfectly with the quiet getaway that we were seeking. The food, oh the food was phenomenal. I expected great food but I was amazed at how well prepared all the food was. We loved the quiet surroundings and enjoyed a day trip to Galena for shopping and some history. We look forward to trying out the other cottages in the future. If you are looking for a quiet and romantic getaway I highly recommend the Inn at Irish Hollow.
