Sometimes the day just seems to run past without my noticing. Without the directive to pause, somehow we continue to do what we love to do - work - all day long! So, our new practice at the Inn is called "Innkeeper Siesta", when at some point during the afternoon, those who are keeping the Inn, need to find some moments of pleasure and relaxation. In my opinion, as these last days of summer linger, there is nowhere better to spend those moments than on the porch, with a light snack.
With our Irish Hollow Clover Field Honey, on a freshly baked scone, along with a wedge of fruit, my iced tea goes down all the better!
