What a year for tomatoes.  The Vines are laden, and the flesh is dense and sweet.  The colors, yellow, purple, all shades of red... and the shapes are quite different from those at the grocery store.  Tomatoes are an amazing fruit and as one might imagine, our kitchen is doing beautiful things with them!  Tomato Coconut Soup is on the menu, along with Watermelon Tomato sorbet.  We are roasting, juicing, grilling and layering them into our Eggs Benedict.  Hundreds more on the way!  We will blanch and freeze some to use on those cozy winter days to come when the these beauties will remind us of this year's bountiful harvest.
